In May, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office (BCPO) and Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association 221 (PBA) delivered fresh, hot meals from Caffe Anello in Westwood to some of our local ECF families! Chef Johnny from Caffe Anello and the PBA (both pictured here preparing the food) have been working together to generously feed those in need throughout the Bergen County community during this COVID outbreak. “The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office PBA Local 221 realizes that it’s not just the front line workers who need our support during these trying times,” said Detective Douglas Rager, President of the PBA Local 221. “As such, we were happy to partner with ECF to bring smiles to some very deserving families in Bergen County.”
The Italian style meal, which included cotton candy and a make- your-own cannoli kit, was delivered to five ECF families. “I cannot express how thrilled this made our family,” said one mom. “It has been hard being isolated for two months now…. but this brightened our day! We enjoyed every bite of this yummy goodness and a much needed break from the kitchen.”
